BG's Nexus Grid Switch range is ideal for use in domestic, commercial and industrial applications. The Grid range has been designed to match the Nexus finishes to extend their best-selling range. This range benefits aesthetically from having no visible plastic around the switches. As expected from BG, the range is incredibly functional and practical. The products are designed to be easy to install with a cantilever module to frame installation and a range of interchangeable rockers provides flexibility. For your peace of mind, the entire Grid Switch range comes with a 25 year guarantee!

The Grid range features a wide expanse of styles of front plates with both the Nexus Metal and Screwless Flat Plate profiles. These profiles are available in a choice of white, chrome, brushed steel, black nickel and polished brass finishes. The range is supplied in square or rectangular options with a choice between 1 and 12 gang plates. The Nexus Metal profile plates benefit from having a finish truly matched to the existing White Moulded or Nexus Metal ranges as well as having the benefit of no visible plastic around the switches. The white plates are also supplied with covers to conceal the fixing screws and provide a sleek finish. The Screwless Flat Plate profile benefits from matching the standard Nexus Flat Plate ranges and from having a flat, modern profile with softly rounded edges. The flat plate front plates benefit from having a secure and easy "clip on, clip off" front plate which is beneficial when it comes to redecorating as you can simply take off the front plate to avoid splashing it with paint, therefore, saving time fiddling with masking tape.

A choice of 1 & 2, 3 & 4 and 6 & 8 gang grid frames are available within this range. Two options for these are available, the first being a Nexus and Metal Clad frame. These products are designed for use with all screwed front plates, including, Metal Clad, White Moulded, Nexus Metal and Brass front plates. These frames are supplied with spacers for use with the Metal Clad front plates. The second frame style is for use with screwless flat plate front plates only. These feature a fixed, integrated plastic gasket to protect the metal edges from moisture and have Earth terminal(s) fitted as standard. For an easy assembly, BG supply captive fixing screws. Another key element of the BG Grid Switch range is the selection of mounting boxes they supply. These are available in a selection of options from 1 & 2 gang grid to 9 & 12 gang grid with both surface and flush mounting options.

BG have covered all the bases with their range of Grid Switch modules. This range includes 20A modules, accessories, indicators, dimmers and fused/flex outlets. The switched and fused/flex outlet modules are available in a choice of five finishes, again, intended to match any existing Nexus products that you might have. These finishes are: white, chrome, brushed steel, black nickel and polished brass. The vast majority of the rocker switches have the additional benefit of having alternative printed rocker covers available. The module range also includes a selection of indicator modules that are suitable for use with all finishes and a selection of dimmer modules that are suitable for use with tungsten lamps, low voltage transformers and mains voltage GU10 halogen lamps.

A wide range of alternative and replacement rocker covers are available for use with the rocker switches within this range. These are available in the usual BG finishes; white, chrome, brushed steel, black nickel and polished brass. The white rockers within this range are supplied with the markings printed on them and the metal rockers are supplied with embossed markings. Examples of the printed rockers include: hob, oven, fan, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer, heater and air conditioning. Unprinted rockers are also available in the above finishes with the addition of a graphite rocker that is designed to be fully compliant to Part M of the building regulations.
