The BG Electrical Moulded 879 is a white flex outlet plate, rated at 45A .

Part of the moulded round-edge range, the 879 is constructed to a modern standard design and so is a great value option for a variety of domestic and commercial installations, especially in the kitchen where 45A appliances are frequently found.

The plate comes with a cable entry in the lower edge with a removable reducer and a reversible cord grip, to maximise the possibility of a convenient installation. It is simple to install; fitted with colour-coded terminals that have 2 cable apertures and screws, it’s easy to retrofit into an existing backbox (minimum depth 25mm).

As per the entire 800 range of switches and sockets, the BG 879 comes with a 30 year warranty for peace of mind. These are manufactured to BS 5733 for compliance with national building regulations.
