The BG Electrical Moulded 853 is a white switched fused connection unit with flex outlet and indicator neon, rated at 13A .

Part of the white moulded round-edge range, the 853 is constructed to a modern standard design and so is a great value option for a huge variety of domestic and commercial installations. Its simple design makes it extremely versatile, so can be used as a secure connection for hard-wired appliances like dishwashers, fridges and electric heaters.

The 853 has a double-pole switch to provide an extra layer of security to you and your appliances. It also comes with a flex outlet with cord grip as standard, allowing dishwashers, refrigerators etc. to be hard-wired, and also a neon indicator for improved visibility in enclosed or obscured areas.

This fused connection unit is easy to install; fitted with colour-coded terminals and backed-out captive screws, it’s simple to retrofit into an existing backbox (minimum depth 35mm).

As per the entire 800 range of switches and sockets, the BG 853 comes with a 30 year warranty for peace of mind. These are manufactured to BS 1363-4 for compliance with national building regulations.
