The BG Electrical Moulded 821DP is a white single (1 gang) double-pole switched socket, rated at 13A .

Part of the white moulded round-edge range, the 821DP is constructed to a modern standard design to be used with a regular 3 pin UK plug, and so is a great value option for a huge variety of domestic and commercial installations. As a double pole switched socket it not only functions as a simple on/off for the appliance plugged in, but switches live and neutral to allow for safe isolation of the circuit.

The 821DP is simple to install; supplied with fixing screws, installation instructions and angled colour-coded terminals with captive screws, retrofitting into an existing backbox (minimum depth 25mm) is made easy. To allow for an even safer, high-integrity protective connection, the socket is twin earth fitted to allow a double earth facility.

As per the entire 800 range of switches and sockets, the BG 821DP comes with a 30 year warranty for peace of mind. These are manufactured to BS 1363-2 for compliance with national building regulations.
